(John) Can you overview what
your company does?

(Bob) We are pioneering a new field within the employment industry. Basically, it is an entirely new class of job hunting assistance. Our approach is to use advanced technology combined with personal services to make job hunting easier and faster than ever before.

We have a number of divisions that focus on different markets. They include the consumer division... the corporate market where companies provide outplacement assistance and we're just adding a college division.

(John) Why did you create your firm?

(Bob) For most people, job hunting is a long process... full of strain, confusion and worry.

When the Internet came along, we could see that advancements in technology could revolutionize job hunting. They would make job search much easier, faster and most importantly, allow people to get far greater market exposure. Given the importance of a person's career, we felt this was worth a major investment.

(John) How long have you been in business?

(Bob) We formed the company in 1998. Originally, 20 of our founders had been involved in various aspects of the recruiting and employment fields. We now have a staff of approximately 500 specialists who are involved with assisting our clients.

(John) Could you tell us about who else is behind the firm?

(Bob) The company has 35 officers who are managing directors, and a sizeable staff who facilitate our services. These include senior consultants, marketing directors, IT staff, database and client service specialists, programmers and so on. The firm has over 75 employee shareholders who own the firm.

(John) Who are your clients?

(Bob) Originally, we just served high level individuals. For example, CEOs, university presidents, senior officers leaving the military, celebrities, professional athletes... and others. But, in the last five years we have broadened our client base to include people seeking professional positions at all levels from $40,000 to $500,000+. As I mentioned earlier, we've also just added a college division that specializes in helping recent graduates.

(John) Do you have corporate clients?

(Bob) Yes, but the major part of our business is our private practice where we work with people seeking new positions in the U.S. We have also begun working with people who are looking for new positions on an international basis.

(John) How good is your track record... and do you guarantee your service?

(Bob) Our track record is strong, and I wish it were 100% but it's not. Virtually everyone who uses our service and who takes advantage of our resources is able to generate substantial interviews.

But a small percentage still have difficulty in converting their interviews into the right offers. Our goal, of course, isn't any offer... but the offer our clients want. Naturally, we work closely with them on interviewing, and offer special help to those with little skill in this area.

No ethical person can guarantee anyone that they will get the right job. However, we do back up our services with some very strong guarantees.

First, when we develop a person's marketing plan, write their resumes and letters and create their marketing website, we guarantee their satisfaction with a money back guarantee.

In practice, less than 1% of all clients are not satisfied, so it's a good business practice because it gives all of our clients a degree of comfort.

Secondly, we also offer a strong performance guarantee. If a client doesn't land the right new position within 90 days... we will assign a new team to analyze everything, do a new marketing plan, along with all new resumes, letters, and a new website. This too is necessary in only a small fraction of all engagements, so it is a record we are proud of.

(John) A lot of people don't know about you, why is that?

(Bob) John, we've been in business for some years but have rarely needed to advertise. We own hundreds of different websites and receive over 30,000 inquiries each month.

Quite frankly the interest is so high that we cannot possibly get back with everyone that we hear from. In the future we hope to get caught up in that regard. To help people see if we can be of help to them, they can view a number of short videos on our website.

(John) Are there any competitors that
currently offer the same services as you?

(Bob) No, but I expect we will have competitors in the future. Right now no one really does what we do. Some small firms offer only parts of the types of services we make available. If you look closely, they simply don't have our technology, and their services are not as affordable.

For example, some local firms offer counsel and will say that they know their local market. But, without our job hunting information center, they really can't even begin to supply the local market leads, openings and potential that we can supply.

(John) How do you differ from the traditional
outplacement and career counseling firms?

(Bob) Those organizations just supply job hunting advice. As I mentioned, we provide an entirely new class of job hunting assistance. Our investment in technology innovations allows us to do things for professionals that they simply can't do for themselves.

Basically, we do much of the hard work of job hunting.

(John) How do you determine service charges?

(Bob) We offer three levels of service. You can download them under the services menu bar. They are very affordable for people at all income levels. As with most industries, technology has allowed us to bring our costs down as we have grown.

We also have a major economic advantage because we are an e-services firm and assist clients on a worldwide basis... without a need to visit our offices. In fact, we maintain only limited offices worldwide.
